Nomarama Intro - Animation - Josh Strasshofer's Portfolio

Project Brief:

Nomarama is a culturally influencing brand that highlights a lifestyle of adventure, fun, play & education. Through our work, we tap into all things local i.e, museums, state parks, restaurants & everything in between to provide our audience a first-hand look at what may seem out of reach is actually right under our noses. Jarrell contacted me to create an intro animation for his new web series "This is Nomarama", Nomarama is infamous for their annual burger battles and the Munchie Market, a pop up pop-up market. Concept:

When Jarrell told me about his idea for an 8-bit intro animation of himself running through the city eating all food in his path, I knew exactly how it would play out. Styled a bit like the OG Mario, Jarrell's 8-bit version runs through the city grabbing pizza and a hotdog powering him up along the way.
