Project Brief:

Textile Information Science is a small startup company, located in Norfolk, VA, focused on device design and development of services for the IoT (Internet of Things). They use a first principles-based design approach to provide novel cost-effective solutions for clients.

Textile is the conversion of our existing reality into the future, turning the natural into the digital. This is achieved by monitoring data and providing real-time feedback that aids in establishing improved or preventative measures.

Concept:

The design depicts a segment display that is reminiscent of a calculator, a digital depiction of numbers. The cube reinforces the concept using a 3D object translated into a 2D plane that makes up the letters of Textile.
